Recycling
Here at Berea College, we pride ourselves in being mindful, practical, and responsible when it comes to taking care of ourselves and the planet. Recycling and composting are some of the ways we can reduce our environmental impact.
Berea College recycling services are exclusive to campus departments only. For more information on how to recycle, see below. Standard recycling materials can be placed in the blue bins across campus.
It is important to only put the correct items in recycling. Failure to do so can injure workers and cause machinery to break.
All items should be clean and free of grease and food residue.
If that’s not possible, it’s not recyclable.
